His father, Dr. K.C. Mittal, was a physician, and his mother managed the household with care and warmth. This environment shaped Ravi’s personality, making him both empathetic and determined.

His childhood was marked by curiosity and a love for learning. Teachers often described him as a bright student who asked questions beyond the classroom syllabus.
