He belongs to a Hindu family with an army background. His father, Mohit Bawa, is a retired colonel who now serves as the student dean at BML Munjal University, Gurgaon. His mother, Aneeta Sood Bawa, is a homemaker. He has an elder sister, Natasha Bawa, who is married to a businessman.

Parikshit attended Mount St. Mary’s School in Delhi Cantt, where he excelled in academics and sports. He was the sports captain of his school and won the All Rounder’s Award for six consecutive years.
