Early Life and Family Background
On 12 July 1964, Meenakshi Rai was born into a family that valued education and public service. Her father, Madan Mohan Rasaily, served as the Home Secretary in the Government of Sikkim, while her mother, Rabi Mala Rasaily, was a school teacher.
