Biography

Yuni Shara was born as Wahyu Setyaning Budi on 3 June 1972 (age: 51 years, as of 2023) in Batu, East Java, Indonesia. She is the eldest of four siblings, and her younger sister is Krisdayanti, who is also a singer and actress.
Shara’s parents are Trenggono and Rachma Widianingsih, who are both musicians and singers. Yuni Shara inherited her musical talent from her parents and started singing when she was a child. She often joined singing competitions and festivals and won several awards.
